Cherie D. Putman, CPA Drawing from over two decades of experience and across nearly all financial disciplines, Cherie Putman currently advises on strategic planning matters for clients in the areas of personal financial and tax planning, accounting and financial reporting, business entrepreneur consulting, and investment management. Prior to establishing her practices, Cherie held positions at both international and local CPA firms. Her positions specialized in tax, financial planning and business consulting. Cherie received her degrees in Accounting and Finance from the University of Southern California in 1987. In addition to her license to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California, she also holds licenses in real estate, securities and insurance (California Insurance License No. 0E07779). Cherie is a frequent technical reviewer for continuing education courses and holds membership in the California Society of CPA’s, Financial Services Institute, National College Advisory Group and Trojan League South Bay. A Southern California native, Cherie resides in Redondo Beach with her husband, John and two children, Matthew and Brandon. John is a cable contractor and communications consultant and serves the Southern California area. The entire Putman Family enjoys the awesome sport of ice hockey as fans, coaches and players. Aside from coaching youth ice hockey, Cherie has played in various women’s leagues and has joined John in coed league play. Cherie believes in giving back to her community, and to that end, she has served as finance chair of her Church and has had the privilege of instructing children in several financial literacy subjects in the local schools. Long weekends will find the Putman Family enjoying the local Channel Islands boating, fishing and water play.
